APSRTC finalizes arrangements for Brahmotsavams of Lord Venkateswara

APSRTC ED B Sreerama Murthy announces APSRTC preparations for Lord Venkateswara Brahmotsavams
The APSRTC is finalizing its preparations to cater to the needs of the devotees for the Brahmotsavams of Lord Venkateswara. The Brahmotsavams will begin on September 29 and will be celebrated for nine days.
APSRTC ED B Sreerama Murthy said that to control the traffic during the nine-day festival, APSRTC has made arrangements to run three to four buses every minute between Tirupati Kanuma road to the hill top. Speaking to reporters at a press conference in the Tirupati RM office, Sreerama Murthy said that 485 buses would run in 13 depots. An additional 3500 staff would be employed for the Brahmotsavams. Repairs and maintenance works are in progress for all the buses and 40 news buses will also be used.
Two squad jeeps that run round the clock would be present on the Kanuma road to monitor break down of RTC buses. The TTD Chairman Kanumuri Bapiraju would hold a status meeting on the arrangements on the 12th of this month. RTC Tirupati RMO Nagasivudu and Deputy CTM Chengal Reddy would be present in the meeting.
