Seeghra Darshan of Lord Venkateswara from Wednesday
October 20, 2009, Chittoor
Price of the ticket is set at Rs. 300 per head
The much awaited 'Seeghra Darshan' system will be introduced at the crack of dawn on Wednesday. The new system will facilitate devotees to gain easy entry into Vaikuntam queue complex for darshan of the presiding deity of Lord Venkateswara Swamy without any VIP recommendation letters. The price of this ticket is Rs.300 per head.
With the introduction of the new darshan system, tickets for archana ananthara darshan and cellar entry tickets will be scrapped. The new system is aimed at providing hassle free darshan to the pilgrims without any revenue generating motive and at the same time crushing the decade long middlemen menace who have been running a parallel administration atop the Holy Hills.
