TTD decides to introduce single window system

Devotees can now have all services from a single counter
The Tirumala Tirupati Devastanam (TTD) has decided to introduce the Single Window System under which devotees can have darshan tickets, accommodation, reservation and laddus will be provided across one counter. The Single Window System that will come up at the Central Reception Office at Tirumala will be launched on a trial basis on Monday.
The TTD Executive Officer, KV Ramanachary said that it took six months of hard work by EDP professionals deputed from National Institute of Information and Technology to develop the software that facilitates issuance of darshan and seva tickets, reservation of accommodation and other facilitates at one go at a single counter.
The money collected will automatically be credited to the accounts of the respective departments. Meanwhile, efforts are also being made to increase production of Srivari Prasadam for catering the needs of pilgrims whose numbers are steadily rising every year.
