Thousands mourn on sudden demise of SVU VC Ratnam

Colleges under SVU to remain closed from Saturday to Monday
Thousands of people, students and university staff of the Sri Venkateswara University, Vice Chancellors and officials of peer universities, politicians and local leaders are mourning at the sudden demise of its Vice Chancelleor Ratnam. The body of Ratnam is shifted to his home town of Antervedi. Few people were irked when the body is shifted in an ambulanced and have demanded the shifting in by train in an AC cart or by a helicopter.
People hail Ratnam as a reformer and that his policies and strategy implemented in the last 8 months or so is are very visible. A person known to be simple hearted and as a person with lots of patience, Ratnam remains in the minds of people of Tirupati for ages.
