Deepavali Asthanam of Lord Venkateswara Swamy Temple in Tirumala will be held on November 9 in a traditional manner. In view of the festival, some sevas have been cancelled on that day. However, Suprabhatam, Abhishekam and Sahasra Deepalanakara Sevas will be performed as usual.
On that day the processional deity of Sri Malayappa Swamy along with His consorts Sridevi and Bhudevi will be given Ekantha Tirumanjanam. Even Senadhipathi varu will also be given Ekantha Tirumanjanm and the ritual is followed by Visesha Sampurna, Visesha Padi Pradarsana and presentation of new clothes to Malavarulu according to a press release.
