N Chandrababu Naidu elected unanimously as TDP chief

Nearly 20 resolutions were passed in Mahanadu

N Chandrababu Naidu was once again elected as Telugu Desam Party president unanimously. The three day conclave passed as many as 20 resolutions after 24 hours of extensive discussion. Nearly 76 leaders and workers spoke on the various topics. He said that he will follow the footsteps of the TDP founder NT Rama Rao to serve the poor. Blowing the conch for the 2009 elections a a huge public meeting organized at SV University campus to mark the completion of silver jubilee year of the party's formation, he said that he wanted to remain in the hearts of the people by doing good works.

As far as law and order resolution that was introduced on Tuesday, Chandrababu Naidu said that the officers who failed to maintain law and order would have to face consequences in future. Nearly, 1550 party activists donated blood during the three day meet. The party received donations to the tune of Rs.1.53 crore and the NTR Trust got Rs.1.96 crore.
