Conveyor belt to be installed to transport laddus at Tirumala

The installation of a conveyor belt in the temple of Lord Venkateswara in Tirumala to transport laddus from inside the temple to the counters has been from inside the temple to the counters on the bank of Swamy Pushkarini. This new system is expected to optimize the processes within the laddu manufacturing facility of the temple.
The Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanam (TTD) Executive Officer, APVN Sarma inspected its progress and directed the officials concerned to speed up the matter and complete the work at the earliest possible time.
According to the TTD officials, the temple structure would be altered for the conveyor system. In the first phase, the structure of the temple kitchen on the northern side of the sanctum would be extended to the outer compound wall and in the second phase, the conveyor belt would be carried over the compound wall to the laddu counters outside the temple.
