Bomb alert for Govindarajaswamy temple

Telephone call turns out to be a prank call
The SP Office in Chittoor received a telephone call from an anonymous caller at about 10:00 PM that the there is a bomb at the Temple of Sri Govindarajaswamy in Tirupati and that it will blast in an hours time. Police and security forces rushed to the temple and made a thorough check at the temple only to find that the call was a pranck call.
The police conducted a review of the security of the temple to ensure that no untoward incident happens. Security at many temples in the state has been beefed up in recent times in the wake of increase terrorist activities in the country.
