TTD chairman seeks Sai Baba help to water needs

Sai Baba did not give any specific commitment

The Chairman of Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanam (TTD) Chairman B. Karunakara Reddy on Saturday called on Sri Satya Sai Baba and paid his obeisance. He offered prasadam of Lord Venkateswara and explained the various steps taken by the Board to augment the amenities for pilgrims at Tirumala and Tirupati.

He along with a team comprising of Veda Pandits explained Sri Satya Sai Baba about the Rs. 800 crore proposals that is being considered by the TTD to take Telugu Ganga water to Tirumala from Kadaleru reservoir to meet the increasing needs of the drinking water to the pilgrims.

According to a press release, Sai Baba gave a patient hearing to the plea of the TTD chairman but did not give any specific commitment.
