China Jeeyar Swamy raises once again thousand pillar Mandapam issue

Demands TTD to take steps to relocate it exactly at the original spot
Sri Trindandi Srimannarayana Chinna Jeeyar Swamy after a long silence has on Friday joined the issue with the TTD for dismantling the ancient Thousand Pillar Mandapam at Tirumala. He demanded that the TTD should take immediate steps to relocate it exactly at the spot where it originally existed.
Speaking at a religious gathering before he set out on a holy trek up the Tirumala along with thousands of his followers to mark the conclusion of Venkateswara Sharanagathi Deeksha, the Swamy sought to remind the TTD that the High Court had given him the opinion to approach it again, if the TTD failed to meet his demand. The TTD Board Chairman Karunakar Reddy and Executive Officer APVN Sarma in reply asserted that the TTD would only go by the Board decision on the issue.
