Decision to recruit 200 Security personnel
In the wake of Saturday bomb blasts in the twin cities, and in view of threat to Sri Venkateswara Swamy vari temple, the Tirumala Tirupati Devastanams have decided to beef up security.
Taking stock of the situation, the Tirumala Tirupati Devastanams have decided to recruit 200 personnel for the security purpose. It may be recalled that a proposal was on with the government for consideration for some time.
In the wake of the recent bomb blasts, the TTD authorities have again contacted the State Government which responded positively for the pending proposal. According to reliable sources, the recruitment process has already been set in motion. TTD will recruit 200 security personnel who will be shortlisted by the Police Recruitment Board.
