ISRO Chief speaks at a conference
The ISRO chairman G. Madhavan Nair stressed the need for bringing the applications of space technology to the doorstep of farmers for agricultural development. He inaugurated a conference on 'Dissemination of Space Technology' organized by the Federation of Farmers Association on Saturday, he urged the farmer outfits to synthesize their requirements and applications of remote sensing technology at village level to develop agriculture.
