April 18, 2007, Tirupati

TTD Chairman inspects hill temple

Thanks to the Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams (TTD), devotees would soon have no problems in purchasing laddus. The Chairman of TTD B. Karunkar Reddy who inspected the hill temple and its surrounding areas asked the Engineering Department to come up with plans for the construction of about 100 laddu counters. He asked the Department to see that these counters are state-of-art and be constructed using modern techniques.

The new laddu counters would sell laddus, the prasadam of the temple along with Gold Dollars and Mangalasutrams. This will ease the devotees who usual form long queues to purchase the prasadams of the temple.
