No religion except Hinduism will be allowed at Tirumala

Book on Sri Man Savyakhana Andhra Mahabharatam dedicated to Nation
The Chief Minister Dr. YS Rajasekhara Reddy on Tuesday said that no religion except Hinduism would be allowed to be practiced atop the Tirumala Hills. He dedicated a book published by the Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams (TTD) Sri Man Savyakhana Andhra Mahabharatam to the Nation at a function organized at Asthan Mandapanm.
Dr. Reddy appreciated the efforts made by the TTD in the recent times to take up religious and spiritual activities. He said that the Government had recommended providing financial assistance of Rs.3000 to all temples over 3000 in the State to carry out the nitya dhoopa deepa naivedhyams in addition to ratifying the decision of the TTD to provide Rs. 2000 every month.
The Chief Minister said that the Government has no dearth of funds for carrying out the religious propagation in the subcontinent and for the first time in the history of the country a Vedic University was established at Tirupati.
