Chief Minister presents silk vastrams to Lord Venkateswara

Tight security deployed for CM's visit
The Chief Minister Dr YS Rajasekhara Reddy on Monday presented a pair of silk vastrams to Lord Venkateswara on behalf of the State Government to coincide with the Brahmotsavam.
Dr. YS Rajasekhara Reddy carried the sacred vastrams from Anjaneya Swamy temple and reached the main entrance of the temple in procession which was preceded by over half a dozen caparisoned temple elephants amid beating of drums He handed over the vastrams to the temple priest. Unprecedented security arrangements were made for the visit of the Chief Minister and he would stay overnight and participate in other programmes on Tuesday.
