Kanipakam Brahmotsavams 2006 comes to a grand end

The 21-day Brahmotsavams at the Kanipakam temple has come to an end. The annual-Brahmotsavams have begun on August 27, 2006 on the Ganesh Chaturthy day (Vinayaka chavithi day as per the Telugu calendar). Various special sevas and rituals will be performed during these 21 days. The Brahmotsavams ended with the Dwajarohanam held on September 5.
The Executive Officer of the Temple T Sivaji said that this years Brahmotsavams saw more number of devotees attending the temple programs than ever. He thanked for the support from various Governmental Departments for making the program a grand success. Liquor shops in Agarampalle were closed during these 21-days. Electricity Department has ensured availability of power all these days while the Andhra Pradesh Road Transport Corporation (APSRTC), the official public road transport service provider has put in special busses to handle the pilgrims attending to the temple program from various parts of the state.
