Record devotees take food under Nitya annadanam scheme
The Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams (TTD) said it earned Rs. 9.87 crores as a part of the Brahmotsavams festivals that concluded recently. The collections from the Srivari hundi rose to Rs. 7.08 crores. Ticket sales for the darshan earned Rs. 1.22 crores while Rs. 1.12 crores came from the laddu sales. TTD Executive Officer A.P.V. Narayana Sarma briefed the press about the Brahmotsavams festivals.
A record number of 9.63 lakh devotees took food under the Nitya annadanam scheme. This was up from 5.50 lakh devotees who utilized the facility last year.
