TTD staff calls off agitation

TTD Board agrees to provide individual houses to eligible employees
The Joint Action Committee (JAC) of the Tirumala Tirupati Devastnams (TTD) staff and workers union which was spearheading a relay hunger strike in support of their charter of demands has called off their strike on Saturday. The end to the protracted stand off between the JAC and the TTD management came to an end of a recent decision by the TTD board to provide individual house sites to all the eligible employees instead of providing houses under apartments scheme.
