November 26, 2006, Tirupati
Petition filed by the president of the 'Praja Congress Party'
The Andhra Pradesh High Court granted stay on the resolution of TTD Board's proposal earmarking its sites at five different places in and around Tirupati for allotment to its employees following a petition filed in the High Court by the president of the 'Praja Congress Party'.

In a press release issued on Sunday, that a Division Bench of the High Court comprising Justice Chalameswar and Justice Apparao agreed with the contentions of the petitioners and stayed the TTD Board resolution.
