Temple purification

A purification ceremony will be performed in the Srivaari temple in Tirumala on Tuesday as a prelude to the Ugadi asthanam to be held on Thursday. The ceremony will be performed in the sanctum after the first bell and the smaller idols and other articles including the akhandam deepam will be shifted to the antechamber.
