Theppotsavam, the five day annual ritual of Lord Venkateswara Swamy began on Friday on an elegant note. The processional deities of Lord Malayappa along with His two divine consorts were taken around in a grand procession around the mada streets encircling the Hill Shrine before reaching the venue Sri Vari Pushkarini.
The Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams, the trust that manages the Hindu temple has made all necessary arrangements for the rituals.
Piligrims in large numbers are expected to be participating in the Theppotsavam rituals.
