The Tirumala Tirupati Devastanams management is contemplating initiating steps to provide darshan to pilgrims without any recommendation. Speaking to media after the conclusion of the TTD Board of Trustees meeting on Friday, the Chairman T Subbarami Reddy said that the goal of the management was to provide hassle free darshan to pilgrims without any recommendations from VIPs.

Mr. Reddy said that the management was contemplating to check the growing complaints of pulling and pushing by the temple staff inside the sanctum Santorum and to clear more number of pilgrims, women volunteers would be deputed.

The meeting also resolved to enhance the grant to the SV University to Rs.1 crore from the existing Rs.50 lakhs.
