Chartered Accountants seminar at Tirupati

The two day residential programme for Chartered Accountants began on Saturday. Nearly 200 delegates from Karnataka, Kerala, Tamil Nadu and Andhra Pradesh took part in the meet organized by the Southern India Regional Council (SIRC) of (Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI).

The Chairman of the ICAI’s Chennai based SIRC, VC James explained the changes witnessed in the profession in tune with the local requirements and changes in the international law as well based on which changes had been contemplated in curriculum to infuse more professionalism. Inaugurating the programme, the TTD Executive Officer APV Narayana Sarma spoke on the role of Chartered Accountants in determining a financial strength of a firm and a saw a rosy future ahead for the profession.
