National level seminar on 'Kavitraya Mahabharatham'

The Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams (TTD) will be conducting a three day national seminar on Kavitraya Mahabharatam from August 20. It is being conducted under the auspices of Sri Venkateswara Central Library and Research Centre (SVCL&RC) at SVETA premises.
TTD is bringing out a Telugu version of Sri Mahabharatham along with commentary and rare reviews which is all set to be released soon. The set of books costing Rs.1,000 will be made available at a discount of 60 per cent to ensure that the epic finds a place in every Telugu speaking household. The TTD Executive Officer APVN Sarma speaking to reporters said that noted scholars were invited for the seminar. He said unlike seminars that were held in the past, the present seminar will focus on literary and spiritual facets of the grand epic while participants this one will shed light on its influence on the contemporary world.
