Earns Rs.1.15 crores on Tamil New Year Day

Tirumala Tirupati Devastanams (TTD) earned a record revenue of Rs.1.15 crores from the Hundi at the Lord Venkateswara Swamy temple on the Tamil New year day alone.

According to sources, the offerings in the hundi included Rs.21 lakhs from an industrialist from Mumbai and another Rs.6 lakhs from a Kolkata based businessman.
