Tirumala Hundi collection over Rs.1 crore

In the history of the holy temple of Lord Venkateswara Swamy, the hundi income has crossed Rs.1 crore during Brahmotsavam on a single day. The temple registered a record income of Rs.1.65 crores on Sunday. The officials attribute the heavy stagnation of pilgrims to long waiting hours for the Darshan of Lord Venkateswara.

It may be recalled that the Lord Venkateswara Temple at Tirupati is the richest temple in Asia
