Discuss on Meet on ropeway by agama panel ends inconclusively The State Government's proposal to lay an aerial ropeway between Tirupati and Tirumala is snowballing into a major controversy. Archakas of the temple are expressing strong reservations at the way the Government is trying to push the project without any regard for Agama Sastras. TTD's Executive Officer, APVN Sarma emerging out the meting told waiting media persons that deliberations could not be held as two of the seven member committee could not make it to the meeting. He repudiated the Government's claim that the project has the approval of Agama experts.
