Heavy rains claims lives of two - destroys mango produce

Farmers in the state are now facing with a different kind of problem. With water problem generally expected every summer, the recent heavy rains in the district for the last two days has caused the farmers who breed Mango to accrue a loss in their produce. Heavy rains on Saturday claimed the lives of two.

Yadagiri gutta reported 85.21mm rainfall and stood at the top in the carts reporting rainfall on Saturday. Tavanampalem reported 71.0mm, Putalapattu reported 51mm and Chittoor with 31.2mm
