Old Currency Notes destroyed

World's Richest Temple – The Tirmala Tirupati Temple – gets lots of currency notes, coins and other form of donations. The temple also gets some fake and old notes too as a part of the collections from the hundis. It is customary to put all the fake notes in a bad or a sack and destroy them in fire.

A recent such job was completed when the temple was able to collect 5 bags of old unusable notes. The bags were destroyed in fire under the monitoring of the Chief Vigilance and Security Officer Balakrishna and Vigilance and Security Officer Nagoor Reddy.
