Rs. 1 Crores for Drinking Water facilities for villages

Agriculture Minister and District In-charge Minister Mr Raghuveera Reddy said that the State has nearly 500 villages being fed with water from water tankers. He said of these, Chittoor has as many as 280 of them. The Minister took part in Praja Patham program at Tallembedu and spoke on the occasion. He said that the Government is spending Rs. 1 Crore per month for providing drinking water to the villages. He stated that the District Collectors are given full access to the allocated funds to use them in a meaningful manner as required.
