Sandalwood worth Rs. 40 Lakhs looted from a factory in Kuppam

The early hours of Thursday was choose as the time when four armed unidentified persons who raided the Indian Expo Oil Auro factory in Kuppan, tied the watchman of the factory to the gate and loaded the truck on which they case with sandalwood worth Rs. 40 Lakhs of the factory and went away.

The Indian Expo Oil Auro factory was setup by three people from Bangalore but few days of setting up, the Forest Department and the police interfered and seized the factory for not having a valid license. The factory remained seized since five years now. The factory at the time of seizure had Rs. 1 Crore worth sandalwood in it. The factory is guarded by Krishnudu since then.

With Thursday's incident came to light when a passerby saw Krishnudu tied to the gate. Police came to the scene and began investigation.
