The Lord in the Jaganmohini Avatharam on Day 5
September 20, 2004
Tirumala
The Lord made his appearance to the devotees as Jaganmohini Avatharam on the fifth day of the Bramhotsavams. The idol of Lord Krishna was taken in procession in the Tirumala streets.
A replica of Jaganmohini Avatharam of Srivaru was taken out on Danta Pallaki. The procession more enchanting as Lord Sri Krishnaswamy was also taken around in the four streets of Tirumala.
Later at the dawn, the Lord was taken on the Garuda Vahanam. Rain tried to delay the proceeding but nothing comes before devotion. Devotees in large numbers stayed back despite rain to take the darshan of the Lord on the Garuda Vaahana - one of the most precious vehicle of the Lord.
The Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh YS Rajasekhara Reddy visited the holy shrine and presented silk clothes to Srivaru. He is accompanied by Endowments Minister M Satyanarayana Rao and TTD Trust Board Chairman T Subbarami Reddy.
