Rs. 5.47 Crores the development of Tirupati Railway Station

Union Minister of State for Railways R Velu inaugurated Booking Office and Dormitory Rooms at the Tirupati Railway Station. He said that the Ministry will allocate Rs. 5.47 Crores for the development of the Tirupati Railway Station.
He said that the Rs. 1.46 Lakhs were allocated for the modernization of the Platforms No. 1,2,3,5,6. A water treatment plant will be constructed at a cost of Rs. 50 Lakhs. Rs. 27 Crores was allocated for the electrification works between Renugunta-Pakala-Katpadai segment.
