Safe Drinking Water program for Rangareddy and Nalgonda

With drinking water becoming scare in the regions of Rangareddy and Nalgonda, the Government decided to allocate Rs. 150 crore for providing safe drinking water facility to the 140 fluoride-hit villages in the region. The program will give its results only in March 2005 though. Panchayat Raj Minister JC Diwakar Reddy made an announcement on this addressing a press conference at Tirupati.
